  • Q10 number of paragraphs: 2 paragraphs; one long one explaining how the internet allows more people to become famous. I also gave an example of where this happens (Zoella, one of our CSP's). In my second paragraph, I wrote about the negatives of the power that is given to people to determine who the next celeb is.

I agree with this point. In the game, Lara Croft Go, it features a female character. Lara Croft is seen as a strong, independent, strategic woman. She is also seen as the protagonist. This subverts the stereotype of woman. People could potentially feel inspired by the fact that she is a hero rather than the "damsel in distress". This strong character will be seen as a role model to many others and could potentially inspire many women (or men) to become a better version of themselves

The internet has given people the power to create new celebrities. Popularity causes regular people to become big sensations and digital influences. An example of this is Zoella. Zoella, has become very popular over the years through blogs and YouTube, this popularity has allowed her to release her own book and launch a makeup line. The release on the makeup line has boost her fan-base. However, in order to maintain this fan base, she has to relate to her audiences; this can result in Zoella acting quite juvenile in  her videos. Although to others it might seem weird, it offers her fans all aspects of Blumer and Kats. She engages with her audiences and provides them with entertainment that relates to them
