The zoom in on the character face at 0:51 was used to emphasise the aggression that the two kids were intending to give off. A slight use of pan is used at 1:01, where is gradually showing the viewers the house as the two boys enter it. The use of this camera movement (whilst the little girl is repeating the line "you're gonna regret it") helps the viewers foresee an unfortunate fate for the two brothers. The quit cuts between the boys and the items that they are destroying at 1:33 are used to emphasise the destruction and how quickly they are moving around the house. The hand held camera shot at 2:51, puts the viewers in the child's perspective as he is looking around for things with his flashlight.
The use of the pan movement was used at 3:18 was used to follow one of the boys as he was looking at the jars on the table, the dramatic music along with this movement may indicate that the camera is following him to his death. The zoom outwards, displaying the house, (at 4:36) shows that something drastic has happened to the boys.
